On June 18, the Soong Ching Ling – Miss Universe China Beauty Charity Gala was hosted by Yue Sai Kan in Shanghai. Over $2.5 million was raised that evening in support of three charities: Operation Smile, the Shanghai International Film Festival and the Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation Safety For Mothers and Infants program.
Over 1,000 invited guests included a who’s who of Chinese and international business, entertainment and cultural influencers such as:
